Kitimat General Hospital is one step closer to being able to purchase a new colonoscope for the surgical team following the donation of $10,000.
A cheque from the Royal Bank of Canada Foundation was handed to the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation (KGHF) on October 30 by RBC Kitimat manager Chris Mallett.
“The RBC Foundation has provided huge support to the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation over the years and we certainly appreciate their generosity,” said KGHF’s Michelle Wakita.
“This donation puts us within 90 per cent of the fund raising required to purchase a new colonoscope.”
