Women’s hockey play against Terrace and Prince Rupert

Teams leave empty-handed despite plucky performance

Kitimat Ladies Hockey League entered two teams into the Carlo Paolinelli 20th Memorial Anniversay Tournament in Prince Rupert from November 2 to 4.

The tournament, held at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre, fielded 16 teams from across northern British Columbia, inlcuding Prince Rupert, Terrace, Kitimat and Smithers.

The tournament was divided into three divisions, women’s, men’s 35 and over and men’s 50 and over.

Despite spirited performances by the two Kitimat teams, Prince Rupert Raiders took home first place in the women’s division.

Both Kitimat teams played Terrace and Prince Rupert teams.

Thank you to Kyle’s No Frills and Rainforest Wellness Pharmacy for sponsoring our team jerseys.
