The Kitimat Marlins held an official time trial for all their swimmers Saturday, January 15 to help prepare the swimmers for the upcoming championship swim meets.

They swam between three and four events over the morning time trial.

Paige Collier, who is turning 13 at the end of the month, achieved her first AA provincial qualifying standard in the 100 meter freestyle for 13 year old girls. This allows her to compete at the AA provincial championships in Chilliwack in mid February.

Nine swimmers achieved the tough task of setting personal best times in all their events of the morning. They were Robyn Alderman, Hannah Bilash, Leah Desousa, Arthur Firmino, Madison Hauki, Danika Howell, Dylan Pirrotta, Alivia Salema and Madisen Szmata.
