Who’s the boss?

Did anyone else who watched the council meeting on January 17 wonder who was the mayor?

Dear sir,

Did anyone else who watched the council meeting on January 17 wonder who was the mayor?

When someone gives a long-winded lecture to all elected officials, goes on and on, and is rude to the point of continuing when asked not to, it amazes me.

Who is in charge?

What is that little gavel for?

Someone who is supposed to be in charge should have used that little sucker and beat a hole in the desk.

Talk about being out of order.

Why is this behaviour allowed?

A short explanation of something may be in order at times, but this lecture was unbelievable.

The constant bureaucratic lectures on why things cannot be done in the community are getting to be a bit much.

Wouldn’t it be great if these were good positive lectures?

Are you afraid of this person - who you hired?

This rant should never have been allowed in my opinion.

Who is the boss?

Now, on a lighter note, the fellows who did the snow clearing these past few weeks deserve a medal.

What an excellent job.

I watched the fellow on the blower doing our street in the middle of a blinding snow and wind storm and how he could manage to see where he was going was a miracle.

Well done guys!

Anyone who complains about their work needs to take a trip to Terrace and try navigating their streets.

Keep smiling,

I’m watching and listening,

Roma Burnett.
