In loving memory ~

We would like to share our love of Bill's life, loves and accomplishments.

Bill was born in Red Hill, Sussex, England. He immigrated to Canada with is mother Yvonne to Winnipeg in 1944, when he was three. Tom, Bill's father joined later after his service with the

Seaforth Highlanders. After a time in Winnipeg the family along with Bill's bothers David and Ian moved to Vancouver, and then to Kitimat. Bill attended school and graduated from Mount Elizabeth High School.

With time enjoyed in the Boy Scouts and the Army Cadets Bill chose a career with the RCMP. It was when he was stationed in Watson Lake, Yukon where he met Inge, his love. With a growing family in mind, Bill and Inge moved back to Kitimat. Kirsten arrived in 1967 and Kevin in 1971.

Once settled back in Kitimat, Bill worked with the Sheriff's department and Alcan before starting work at Northland dock. He stayed at the "dock" from 1971 to retirement in 2007, spanning four companies.

Bill achieved his dream of designing his log home and building it himself, to raise his family. Completed in 1977 the family moved to cable car.

Through all this time Bill was involved in many community boards and groups and was a member of many advisory boards for the District of Kitimat. He was a director for 16/37 Community Futures, a member of Kitimat Economic Development Committee, a director of the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce, and the Kitimat/Terrace airport advisory board. Bill had a love for Kitimat, his hometown, he wanted the best for the valley and to see it thrive.

Bill will be missed always by his Wife Inge, children Kirsten (Mirko), Kevin (Tanya) and grandchildren, Colton, Derek, Justin, Madisen (Nick), Torey and Emmett. Love you Papa! His younger brothers, David (Vicky), Ian (Cathy), niece and nephews.

We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses that attended to Bill in both Kitimat and Terrace hospitals. As well as everyone who reached out with cards, flowers and condolences.

Honoring Bill's wishes, a service will not be held.
