Wesley (Wes) Arthur Nuttall

September 14, 1928 – August 3, 2009

Wesley Arthur Nuttall passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009, at the age of 80.

Wes was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he grew up on a farm with his mother and father, Emily Nuttall (nee Sexsmith) and Robert Allan Nuttall. Wes had six brothers and sisters; Howard of Prince Rupert BC, Dorothy (Mrs. Ted McKelvey) of Gravenhurst ON, Mark of Oshawa ON, Allan of Edmonton AB, Robert of Mississauga ON and Emily (Mrs. Don Ferguson) of Barrie, ON. Wes spoke often of his brothers and sisters and loved them much.

Wes spent much of his life traveling across Canada, working and living in the Canadian North, Prince George, Kitimat and Vancouver with a career that spanned the Canadian Army, Union Steamships, Northwood Pulp and Eurocan Pulp and Paper.

Wes is survived by his sons Mark (Lucy), Leslie (Agnes), Greg (Laura) and grandchildren Clarissa, Anna and Ewan.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Make-A-Wish Foundation or to The David Suzuki Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Wes was fond of children and a keen outdoorsman, and this would have been to his liking.

Wes was a loyal father and is well remembered.
