November 17, 1927 - May 14, 2020
After many years of battling Alzheimer's Disease, Van Turner went peacefully to meet the Lord in the early morning of May 14th, 2020. The last 8 years of his life, Van resided at the Menno Home in Abbotsford BC., where he was cherished and loved by many of the staff and residents.
Van was predeceased by his wife Hazel Turner in October 2005.
Van is survived by his children Dale Turner (Sharon), Wayne Turner, Jacqui East (David), Donna (Tamara) Redeker and his daughter-in-law Charlene Turner.
Van leaves behind 6 Grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren, and many other family and friends who loved him dearly.
Family Graveside service will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery Friday May 22, 2020 at 1pm.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Alzheimer's Society.
