It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tasha Elaine Harris.
Tasha was born in Kitimat on July 15th, 1976. She is survived by her parents, Mike and Sue Harris; Sister, Tanya (Kevin); her beautiful daughter, Torey (Nikko); two nephews, Derek and Justin Hickman; aunts, uncles, cousins and her lifelong friend Jodi Flegel.
Tasha fought cancer for almost 17 months. She fought with unwavering strength, positivity and courage. Tasha lost her battle on Friday, December 4th, 2020 surrounded by family at home.
The family would like to thank, family and friends who have checked in to offer condolences and support. We also wish to thank; Dr Wahl, Dr VanRensburg and the office reception; Dr Skully and Dr Kay; Oncology department, Debbie, Chelsea and Faye; KGH nurses and ambulance service as well as the amazing homecare nurses that helped support Tasha and the family through this difficult time. Your medical attention, kindness and compassion were very much appreciated.
