The Bizarro family would like to honour the passing of SOFIA PRENDA BIZARRO. Sofia passed away peacefully on March 16th, 2023, in Kitimat General Hospital at the age of 88. Sofia was born on September 29th, 1934 in Sao Miguel Azores (Agua De Pau).
Sofia married Joe Bizarro in Portugal and shortly after immigrated to Canada for a better life and went on to have three children. Rick (Rhonda), Pete (Barbara), and Jerry (Angie). Sofia was blessed with grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Aaron, Shane, Zoelyn, and Phoebe & great-grandchildren Jaidyn, Scott, Maya, Mila, Zachary, and Ivy.
Sofia was well known within the community as a talented seamstress and avid gardener spending many hours tending to her flower beds and greenhouse.
Sofia will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
May she rest in peace next to Joe.
