Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and friend. Shirley was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 23, 1934 where she lived for the first 26 years.
She moved to Kitimat in 1960 to be married to Maynard Reid. They were married on December 23, 1960 at Kitimat First Baptist Church, where she was an active member.
Shirley enjoyed playing softball on the Kitimat Ladies Softball team, in Kitimat and also at a number of tournaments in Terrace and Prince Rupert. She always liked the colourful Alberta sunsets and the beautiful snowscapes that we can see here in Kitimat.
Shirley is survived by her husband Maynard, sons Sean and Troy, her sister Wilma and granddaughter Justine.
