Sheila passed away peacefully on January 2, 2020 after a long struggle with dementia. She is survived by her brother Iain MacKay, his wife Lisbet and nine nieces and nephews.
Sheila was a respected teacher for 35 years at Kildala Elementary School after emigrating from Scotland in 1966. She met her husband Martin at a Christmas party in 1967 and they were happily married until his death in 2007.
Sheila always loved her cats and made a major donation to the Kitimat SPCA. As there will be no service, if you would like to honour her memory, please make a donation to the SPCA.
