Robert (Bob) passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 45 years, Ann (Lamica); his children Jeff (Carrie White), Robin (Kelly Houston) and Shelley (Jeramy Derullieux); his grandchildren Tracey, Kimberly (Marc Paquette), Keith, Joshua, Jessie, Kodi, Hayden and Leeland; his great grandchildren Brice, Emily, Kevin and Dylan; his brothers Roger (Fleure) and Mike (Kathy; his sisters Pauline, Patricia, Muriel and Diane; his brother in-law Fred Lamica (Barbara) and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother Siona Benard, his father George P. B. Smith, his sister Helen and his son Randall.
Bob was a fun loving, hard working, caring man who enjoyed family and friends. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Interment to be in Kitimat Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Society or the Kitimat Hospice and Palliative Care Unit.
We would like to thank Dr. Mills and his staff, the nurses at K.G.H., Home Support Workers, Palliative Care Nurses, Ambulance drivers, kitchen staff, Father Pier Pandolfo for his help in planning and officiating Bob’s Service and the Catholic Women’s League for the reception, CEP Locals 298 and 1127, the Eurocan Social Club, friends and relatives for all the food, fruit baskets, flowers, cards, visits to our home and the hospital.
Your care and support for Bob at such a difficult time was greatly appreciated by all of us.
