Richard Edward Bilash

Born on the prairies of
Saskatchewan on October 29,
1924 to Melina and Stefan, the second youngest of eight children, Richard spent most of his
85 years living and working in Kitimat, BC.
Richard and his wife Mary, of 53 years, raised three sons, David, Mark (Anna), and Greg (Veronica).
He was known for his love of fishing, gardening, watching sports and enjoying time spent with his pride and joy; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Kevin, Lisa, Jacob, Nolan, Hannah, Zachary and Benjamin, who all lovingly called him Grampy.
He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed the comfort of his church. He was a good neighbour.
Richard is remembered as a loving husband, his devotion to Mary was beautiful and tireless. He was a Dad said to be a best friend. He was an amazing grandfather.
Left to mourn his death and celebrate his life are his immediate family, sisters Olive and Kathleen, their families and many nieces and nephews.
You still live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family you left behind...
