It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reinhold Strecha.
Reinhold, 72, passed away peacefully, on July 10, 2021 at St Paul's Hospital with family by his side.
He was born to Jacek and Maria Strecha, in Lieblos, Germany on November 29, 1949. The family immigrated to Canada in 1951, living first in Cadillac , Quebec, and then in 1956, moved to , Kitimat, B.C.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jacek and Maria, his niece Kaira, and his brother-in-law, Al.
He will be sadly missed by friends and family, who he loved and for whom he cared, unconditionally.
Reinhold was always available to lend a hand to friends and family and was a skillful and creative problem solver. There was nothing he couldn't fix and no project was too big - his desire to help was rivaled only by his imposing stature and his sense of humor.
His passion and love for cars, motorcycles, collecting firearms, photography and watches has been passed on to his nephews.
He was the most loving uncle to his nephews niece, great nieces and nephews.
His memory will forever be in our hearts.
