It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of
Pearl Ella Smith
August 17, 1936 to April 11, 2013
Predeceased by parents, Timothy and Margaret Starr, daughter Cindy and husband Crosby. Survived by sons, Timothy and Thomas, daughter Annie and by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and sister, Kay Grant.
Sincere thanks to our local Haisla Volunteer Fire Department, Haisla Nation Council Bereavement Fund, Kitimat Ambulance and Dr. Mills. Thanks to all family and friends for the support, meals, baking, flowers, and cards of condolence.
Why?
We did not know that morning what sorrow the day would bring. Our loss was great, the pain severe, we lost someone we loved so dear. God called you home so quickly that we could not say goodbye our sorrow looms so deeply, ‘cuz only God knows why.
You remain forever in our hearts.
