Pat Neil Merritt aged 73 years, passed away in Armstrong, BC Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
Predeceased by wife Beverly in 2002, Pat will be lovingly remembered by two sons Hal (Vanda) Merritt of Port Coquitlam and Clayton (Sandy) Merritt of Kitimat; daughter Sherry Savoy of San Jose, California; three grandchildren Jill Weidenman, Scott Merritt and Michael Merritt; great grandchild Nathaniel Weidenman; two sisters Maureen Schwingenschloegl of Port Coquitlam and Marilyn Engman of Agassiz; two brothers Clare Merritt of Coquitlam and Bert Merritt of Armstrong; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Pat lived in Kitimat for many years before moving to Armstrong in 2001. He enjoyed the outdoors, music - played and sang and wrote poetry. Pat loved children and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2 pm at Mountain View Chapel, Armstrong.
