It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Natalie Guldin.
Maria Natalia (Natalie) Miranda was born in Kitimat, B.C. on March 9th, 1958 to proud parents, Ilda & Jose Miranda. As a loving wife, mother, vavo, sister, auntie, sister-in-law, friend & co-worker, Natalie touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She grew up in a close knit family with her three sisters and cherished strong family values throughout her life.
Natalie worked as a licensed practical nurse for 13 years before moving to a role as a Medical Office Assistant for Dr. Peter Elphick, then for Dr. Sabina Kay & Dr. Andries van Schalkwyk (Skully), until she retired.
Natalie married her husband, Dieter Guldin, in 1978, and together they raised their three sons, Jason, Sean & Kyle. Natalie was elated when she became a Vavo to five granddaughters.
Her family was her greatest pride and joy and she loved them dearly.
Natalie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness, compassion & great sense of humour.
Natalie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dieter, her sons, Jason (Kristin), Sean (Leah) & Kyle (Andrea); her granddaughters, Mikayla, Claire, Elowen, Caroline & Amy; her sisters, Maria, Marg & Betty; her sisters-in-law, Sylvia, Margarita & Lucia & a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ilda & Jose Miranda & her brother, Jose Luis.
Special thanks goes out to the Care Team at the Kitimat General Hospital, Dr. Li Huang, Dr. Sabina Kay & to Natalie's beautiful friends, Doreen Linton & Teresa Gunn, for their loving care and support of "our" Natalie.
Also, to Father Dominic Apaatah, Susana Borges, the Catholic Women's League & the entire Catholic community, many thanks for their loving kindness and support.
