It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce our daughter Melissa's passing on May 19, 2019.
Melissa was born on March 3,1973 and passed away on May 19, 2019 at the KGH surrounded by her family.
Melissa was diagnosed with cancer a year and a half ago and fought harder than anyone we know. She was and always will be "Our Warrior".
Melissa is survived by her husband Randy; daughter Kaitlin; Mom and Dad Brenda and Gordon; brother Corey; sister Renee; nieces Rachelle, Eve, Amanda; nephew Sam and mother-in-law Dorothy.
A Celebration of Life was held at the LUSO Hall in Kitimat on June 1, 2019.
We would like to thank everyone for your love, support , and prayers during this very difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Also to the nurses at KGH, your compassion and caring for Melissa and our family was truly wonderful and made a very difficult time a little more bearable.
