In Memory of Martin Notheisz
January 28, 1929 to May 9, 2007
A quiet, hard working, private man who loved his garden, cars and cats.
Martin came to work for Alcan in 1956 and continued at Alcan until his retirement in 1990.
Martin leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Sheila; brother John (Maralynne) of Chilliwack, BC; sister Hannalore (Werner) Hockner of Austria; brother in-law Iain MacKay (Lisbet) of Vancouver, BC; and numerous neices and nephews.
He is predeased by his parents Maria and Johan Notheisz of Austria and youngest brother Manfred (Barbara) of Kitimat.
Special thanks to Dr. Botha and all the staff in acute care and multi level care for making Martin’s last days as comfortable and happy as possible.
Thank you to friends and neighbours who made this time much less stressful than I ever expected. Special thanks to Margaret Irvine for all her support and help at this sad time.
As per Martin’s wish, there will be no funeral service.
