Marilyn passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with lung cancer, at the Terrace View Lodge in Terrace, BC., at the age of 87.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late John 'Jack' Hornburg (2009) and was the loving mother of Kathy (Danny), John (Karen), Connie, Lyn (Darrel) and Owen; cherished Grandma of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and is also survived by her brother Harold.
She is predeceased by her parents William and Violet, siblings Betty, William, Tom, Jack, and granddaughter Natasha. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 24th , with a viewing, at MacKay's Funeral Home, 4627 Davis Ave, Terrace, BC. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Thank you to Dr. Christison, Dr. Geller and the nurses at the Terrace View Lodge who have looked after Mom. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Terrace Happy Gang and to the BC Lung Cancer Society in Marilyn's memory.
