June 26, 1927 - February 23, 2019
Margaret was born in Middle Cornwall, Nova Scotia on June 26, 1927. She gave herself into the care of God on February 23, 2019 at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.
Margaret is predeceased by her father and mother, Wilbert and Una Robar, infant brothers Stanley and Elmer Robar, brother Basil Robar, infant daughter Sandra Dorey, daughter Priscilla Howe, sons Bernard Dorey and Dwight Shrum. Son-in-law Robert Latkowski and great great grandchild Nathan Myska.
Margaret is survived by her children Olsen Dorey (Dorothy), Bonnie Surette (Lloyd), Paul Shrum (Karen), George Shrum (Leo), Randy Shrum (Bonnie), Darlene Bradshaw (Walter), Una Tucker (Scott), Lorri Sommerfeld (Ron), sister-in-law Faye Robar, daughter-in-law Lolly Dorey and son-in-law Chris Howe.
Margaret is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom closed her eyes and went the God in mornings early light. He gave her wings and held her hand. Prepared her for the flight.
Now she's at peace, her soul at rest.
There's no more pain and fears,
We were all blessed she was our Mom
She wouldn't want our tears.
Mom will no longer fight for breath,
She's forgotten all her strife,
So we will not dwell upon her death.
We will celebrate her life.
