Mabel Emes
July 24, 1919 - May 10, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Mabel Emes of Kitimat (formerly of Prince Rupert).
She was pre-deceased by our Father, Mike after 60 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her 6 brothers and sisters and her son-in-law Pat Bell.
Left behind to mourn are her four children: sons Arthur (Jo), Arnold (Sheila), and Micheal (Carol), and her only daughter Gloria Dielschneider (Gene Sr.). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, her daughters-in-law Ruth and Reta, her sister-in-law Lillian Emes, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
We would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Wahl, the nurses and staff of The Mountainview Lodge, and the family and friends that have helped us through this time.
To honour Mabel, a tea in celebration of her life
will be held on May 26, 2012 at 1:00 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall.
She will be laid to rest in Two Hills, Alberta at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mabel’s name to The Mountainview Lodge Activation Program.
