Lorne Oscar Holmberg

In loving memory ~
Lorne Oscar Holmberg passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2022. He is survived by sons, Bryan Holmberg (Mae) and Lawrence Holmberg (Joanne), stepsons, Tom Brass (Tuy) and Steven Brass, and stepdaughter, Sandra Brass, along with many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Lorne was born in Clanwilliam Municipality, Manitoba, on March 30th, 1939, 1 of 12 children to John and Sylvia Holmberg. He moved to Kitimat, British Columbia in 1983 and started working for Alcan as a pipefitter-plumber, retiring in 2004. He chose to remain in Kitimat and enjoyed spending time with the many friends he made over the years.
Lorne was predeceased by his wife, Betty Jane Alice Holmberg and parents, John and Sylvia Holmberg.

Service will be held at Kitimat First United Church on August 2, 2023 at 11:00 am. Graveside service to follow.
Friends and family are invited to get together at Chilly & Dancer Pub starting at 4:00 pm.
