After a courageous battle with cancer, Lloyd Chapman Mitchell passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, surrounded by his loving wife Wendy Kay and his twin sons: Steven & Charles Mitchell of Pincher Creek.
Lloyd Mitchell proudly served on the Kitimat Fire Department for 25 years as a firefighter and ambulance attendant before moving to Vernon, BC and eventually to the Pincher Creek area with his family.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Wendy Kay (30 years) of Pincher Creek; his twin sons: Steven and Charles Mitchell and his son Samuel Mitchell of Vancouver, BC; his step daughter Alicia (John) White of Kelowna, BC; and his brother Brian (Louise) Mitchell of Galiano Island, BC.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date on Galiano Island, British Columbia.
Memorial Contributions for the late Lloyd Mitchell may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre (960 - 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5).
