It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother on April 6, 2022 in Kitimat General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Lesley was born January 11, 1945 in Aberdeen Scotland to James and Jessie Tewnion. After arriving in Canada in 1947 on the Queen Mary, they had a brief stop in Vancouver to meet her father that had been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. The family moved to Ocean Falls B.C. Lesley met the love of her life and married William Tullis Lawrence and they completed their family with Jill and Glen.
After a brief stay in Campbell River and Delta they moved to Kitimat B.C. in 1972. Lesley was a data entry clerk at Alcan for several years.
Lesley is predeceased by her husband Tullis, brother Jack Tewnion and sister Heather Crockart, she is survived by her sisters Marg Corbin (Reg) and Lynn MacGregor (Jack) and many nieces and nephews.
She will never be forgotten by her children Jill Lawrence (Ryan McDonald), Glen Lawrence (Ashley Houde) and 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
