Leila Pearle McWilliam (nee Metcalf)
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Leila McWilliam of Kitimat, BC. She passed away peacefully on October 2, 2008 with family by her side.
Leila was born July 19, 1934 in Macrorie, Saskatchewan. She moved to Richmond, BC in 1967 and finally to Kitimat, BC in 1973.
Leila is pre-deceased by her parents Harold and Pearle Metcalf. She is survived by her sons, Kevin McWilliam (Debbie), James Grant, Landon McWilliam (Rosa), daughter Liana McWilliam and eight granchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lodge on Fourth in Ladysmith, BC for the care of their mother in her final months. A memorial service will be held at the United Church in Kitimat Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11 am.
