Joyce Mary Fulljames
November 15, 1925 to March 26, 2017
Joyce passed away on Sunday, March 26 in Stanford Place Care Campus after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Sue) in Kitimat; niece, Kay and nephew, John (Elizabeth) in Colorado. Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alan in 1998; son, Michael is 2015; and sister and brother in law Audrey and Bill Fielding.
Joyce was born in London, England and immigrated to Canada in 1960. The family settled immediately in Kitimat where Alan worked at the Aluminum Co. of Canada and Joyce as an operator for BC Tel.
Joyce was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Business & Professional Womens’ Club in Kitimat.
In 1982, Joyce enjoyed a new career as a Canada Customs Agent. Then they moved on to Qualicum Beach where Joyce continued with the Legion and the Seniors Centre.
She will be missed by her many friends and those whose lives she touched with her fabulous energy.
