Joe is survived by his wife, Maria Jose;
daughter Vanessa (Ed); son Jason; his mother Maria De Jesus; four brothers, Tony (Maria), Arthur, John and Martin; sister Maria (George); in-laws, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephew, family and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his father Antonio da Costa.
His family would love to express the utmost gratitude to Dr. Skully, the exceptional assistance of the nursing staff in acute care at Kitimat General Hospital,
Father John Smith, the bereavement committee, the ladies for the reception, to the many friends and family who lent their support and presence in Joe’s final week, for the attendance at the funeral service, and all of those who continued to show their love during a difficult time.
