John Francis Sloan
August 7, 1933 - October 18, 2009
John passed away peacefully at home. He was predeceased by his sons Pat, Terry and John Jr.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Debby Lawrence (Ken), Cathy, Mike, Christine Everett (Ed), and his nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
After serving with the Canadian Armed Forced between 1951 and 1964, he moved to BC where he worked in the forest industry at Ocean Falls and Kitimat, until his retirement in 1998.
To honour him, a Memorial Tea in celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 7 at 1 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Kitimat.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion in Kitimat.
