In Loving Memory Of James Philip Cole

April 18, 1941 - February 12, 2012


James Philip Cole of Kitimat BC passed away on February 12th, 2012 at Kitimat General Hospital. He was born in Dartmouth NS on April 18th, 1941 to Thomas and Maude Cole. James was a retiree of Rio Tinto Alcan. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband and father.


His passion was fishing at the Pumphouse with many of his friends. He always had a joke to tell whenever he met a friend.


He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Renate and his beloved daughter Claudia. Also left to mourn are his sisters Marina, Lee, and Elva; his brothers Buss, Rick, Bobby, and Stan; his stepsons, Huvert (Andrea), and Karli; and his grandaughter Nicki. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Maude Cole, as well as his brothers Bill, Gerry, and Randall.


A Memorial Service will take place on

Saturday, February 18th, 2012 at 1:30pm at

Christ The King Catholic Church in Kitimat.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.


A special thank you to Deep Olak, Julie Cloutier, Dr. Wahl, Dr. Vanderwick, Dr. West, and the nurses at Kitimat General Hospital for the care of James Cole during his stay at KGH, and to all the friends who brought flowers, food, and to all who were with us at this difficult time.


He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, family, and friends.
