James ‘Jim’ Richard Edgeworth
August 20, 1954 to May 6, 2017
Jim passed away peacefully at Kitimat General Hospital after a brief but determined battle with cancer.
Jim was born in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec August 20, 1954.
Predeceased by his wife Doris “Doe”, his mother Beatrice Eva; father Thomas George and brother John Allan.
Loving Dad to Lea Nester (nee: Little), Carrie Ezekiel (nee: Little) and Cory Little. Brother to Janet Gill (Dartmouth, NS) and Dave Edgeworth (Kitchener, ON).
Jim, recently retired, worked as a heavy duty mechanic and planner at Alcan/Rio Tinto for over 40 years. He enjoyed his co-workers and the work, hydraulics was a favourite and he took particular pride in the various projects he was assigned.
Jim and Doe enjoyed several trips to Mexico every year, the beaches there will feel somewhat empty in their absence. Jim also enjoyed classic cars, particularly his corvette and was looking forward to giving it a complete restoration. Another favourite hobby since his teens was his love for music of various genres. His collection of vinyl was very impressive. He spent many hours in his garage tinkering and listening to his collection.

A celebration of life was held May 28 at the Kitimat Legion at 1pm.
