In Loving Memory of Jack Rigoni

April 6, 1935 January 13, 2008

Jack was a passionate man who lived his life with honour and dignity. He passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 while out cross country skiing in an area he loved.

He was predeceased by his son Albert in 1990 and his brother Gino in 1998.

Jack will be remembered for his crusade towards improvements to the Kitimat Municipal Cemetery.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Sandra; daughter Maddalena (Ross) Vendittelli and grandson Jordan of Prince Rupert, BC; brothers Tony (Diana) of California, Chris (Sally) of Kitimat; and sisters Elda, Anna (Giovanni), Emma of Asiago, Italy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held in Kitimat at Christ the King Church January 19, 2008.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Sandra Rigoni and family would like to thank all those involved in the search for Jack, especially Terry and Jamie Paul, Sean Enmark and Lance Greenslade. The assistance and support of Father Pier, Arleigh Slanina and the bereavement committee will be forever remembered with gratitude. They made a very difficult time bearable.

Thank you to all the family and friends who brought food, flowers, sent cards and gave hugs and immeasurable support and to the church choir. Many thanks to those who made donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society in Jack’s name. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
