Always a Lady She fought a strong, quiet fight.
Iris Margaret Pope July 22, 1926 to August 30, 2007.
She brightened any room with her laughter and her dance, she sang many a song or told a joke with a gleam in her eyes. Her many attributions and love of life, never went unnoticed. Her love for her family was evident, as is their love for her.
Constantly missing her and forever grateful she was such a huge part of our lives; Husband Ernie; son John (Jan), grandson Jeffrey; daughters Lesley (Richard), Susan (Jim); and many family members in England.
At this time we extend our gratitude to the many people who constantly made Mom realize they cared. Our thanks go to Mom’s special friends, the Island Gem’s Dancers, Doctor Louise Pienaar and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo General Hospital.
