December 18, 1943 - October 13, 2020
Ingrun was born in Berlin in 1943. She came to Kitimat as a young chid and attended Smelter Site School.
Her teaching credentials were obtained from UBC. Almost all her lengthy teaching career was spent at Nechako Elementary School with the exception of a short time in Peace River South and St. Anthony's.
Ingrun was an intensely proud, loyal, honest and devout person. Her dedication to and involvement with her church was the guiding light in her life. Her generosity was unbounded.
Survived only her niece, Uta, Ingurn will be sadly missed by many in Kitimat and also her adopted family members in Australia.
A service was held at Christ the King church on October 20, 2020. Interment was at the Kitimat mausoleum.
Donations in Ingrun's name can be made to the Kitimat Humane Society or the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation.
