In Loving Memory of Ilse Anna von Schleinitz
Decemaber 11, 1915 - March 25, 2007
Born December 11, 1915 in Potsdam, Germany, passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital on March 25, 2007 after a debilitating stroke. Pre-deceased by her husband of almost fifty years, Hans Jügern.
Ilse immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her husband and five children, eventually settling in Kitimat, BC.
Following their retirement from Alcan in 1979, Ilse and her husband relocated to Vancouver, BC.
Ilse enjoyed sharing her stories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was enthusiastic about gardening and loved singing. Ilse was very strong willed and lived independently in New Westminster until her passing at the age of 91.
Loved and deeply missed by her children
Hans-Christoph, Barbara, Wulfing, Jahn-Cholo, Michael, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Rest in Peace ‘GG’.
