We are sad to announce the passing of Ilidio Miranda Tavares February 11, 1946 - September 23, 2022
God saw you getting tired, a cure not meant to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, We couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your tender hands at rest. God took you home to prove to us he only takes the best.

Ilidio is survived by: Wife Maria, Sons Fernando ( Jennifer), Carlos, Daughter Elizabeth ( Kevin), Grandsons Jacob, Noah, Trystin and Grand Daughter Maya.
The Tavares family would like to thank The Kitimat General Hospital, The Palliative Care Team
or the amazing care they provided. Dr Kay, Dr Vanschalkwyk, Dr Wahl, Dr Wong, and Dr Mcleod to everyone for their support and kindness during this difficult time of sorrow and grief. Ilidio wanted private services with only his family in attendance.
