If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane,
We would walk up to heaven
To bring you down again.
Our hearts ache in sadness
And secret tears flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will truly know.
When we are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we look at your pictures,
We can see you smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm only sleeping,
We'll meet again someday".
It is with great sadness to announce that Hilda Evelyn Shea passed away peacefully on September 28, 2019 at the Kitimat General Hospital at the age of 94.
Hilda was born in Galt Ontario on July 9, 1925 to William and Ina Wragg and was the youngest of three children. Hilda is predeceased by her loving husband Daniel Shea.
Hilda will be truly missed by her children Cathy, Karen (Rod), Janet (John), Nancy (Rick) and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the love, support and kindness that has been shown during this difficult time.
