Harry Ferns - August 10, 1948 - May 16, 2011
Harry lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at Kitimat General Hospital with his wife Margaret, daughter Tania, son-in-law Jukka and brother Fred by his side. His sister, Cisca, in Austria was unable to be here.
Harry and his family have lived in Kitimat for 38 years and he was well-loved by everyone. He was a man who lived simply and when asked what he needed or wanted his response was always “I don’t need anything, and everything I want is right here.” For years he bowled both in Kitimat and in Terrace and was also involved with the Senior’s Association.
Harry loved fishing and you would find him at the river every day during fishing season and sometimes he just went for a “lookey-loo.” He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
