Hans Wagner 1940 - 2008
Hans Wagner passed away peacefully at the Port Moody Crossroads Hospice May 27, 2008.
He is survived by his wife Anna; his children Alan, Robert, Teresa; and his brother Dieter and family.
Hans was born March 31, 1940 in Hannover, Germany. After high school, he moved to the USA and obtained a BA in Liberal Arts at Central Michigan University.
In 1966 he joined his brother working for Alcan in Kitimat, Kemano and Prince George.
After his retirement in 1997 he moved to Port Coquitlam where he married Anna. They spent a few good years together doing a lot of travelling.
Hans kept himself involved in community and provincial affairs and will be remembered by many.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hans’ name to the BC Cancer Foundation.
