December 14, 1961 - October 27, 2018
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth, And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine"
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, brother, uncle and dear friend. Gordon passed away peacefully in Vancouver after a long and courageous battle with Cancer.
Gordon was predeceased by his father Raymond, his mother Elizabeth and brother Donald.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Michael and Michael's mother Liliana, his sister Diane (Brad), brother David (April), his niece Cassandra and nephews Jameson, Brandon, Corey and Eric.
We would like to thank Dr.'s West, Wahl, and VanWyk for all that they did for Gordon, along with Dr. L. Sehn (BC Cancer Agency), and Dr. K. Song (VGH), words cannot express the gratitude we have for this team of doctors. Thank you to our family and friends and all of those who reached out to us in many ways through this difficult time.
