Gary Merrill Meuse
January 27, 1952 - August 8, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Meuse, who lost his valiant battle with cancer on August 8, 2010, at Kitimat General Hospital.
Gary was born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC and was the eldest of six children.
He leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Wendy; a step-daughter Grace MacNeil; son in-law Rick Hall; and two grandsons Zakkry and Jason Hall. Gary is survived by his siblings Peter, Ron, Audrey, Ellen and Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary had a great love of books and spent many hours reading with Wendy; they were truly soul mates.
His church was a large part of Gary’s life, his faith was strong and it helped him through his ordeal.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Mills and all the nursing staff at Kitimat General Hospital, for all the loving care given to Gary.
In lieu of flowers, Wendy suggests donations be made to the Cancer Foundation in Gary’s memory.
