Ernst lived a full life right up to his last days, arriving in the Kitimat area in 1954 to work for Alcan. He was one of the old-time pioneers that built the town of Kitimat and created a home for himself and his family. Quick to smile and laugh, and always ready to enjoy a hearty meal, he will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Agatha, and his children Lothar and Patrick, his grandchildren, great grand daughter and their families.
His funeral will be held at 1:30pm on October 12 at Christ the King Church in Kitimat.
Forever loved and cherished
