In Loving Memory ~
Emilio, better known as Mike, passed away peacefully after a battle with an infection on the morning of Sept 18, 2022, at the age of 87. Mike was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada with his father and two older brothers at the young age of sixteen. He moved to Kitimat in his early twenties and started a family while working at Alcan and then Eurocan raising his two active boys. Mike loved fishing, hunting, mushroom picking, gardening, making wine and entertaining with his friends. He had a happy spirit, loved to make children laugh and will be sorely missed. Mike retired in 2000 and although he spent his last 10 years living in Prince George, he always considered Kitimat his home.
Mike was predeceased by his oldest son Simon and granddaughter Sydney. He is survived by his youngest son Tracy (Jennifer), daughter-in-law Geordine, four grandchildren, Kylah (Jon), Tyler (Rebecca), Jaclyn (Stefan) and Steven (Kianna), and ten great grandchildren.
