Ed Oliveira

April 5, 2007

In Loving Memory of Ed Oliveira December 29, 1968 - April 5, 2007

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend.

An aggressive rare cancer took our Eddy, but his spirit is forever in the hearts of his wife Leslie, daughter Camryn, mother Albertina; brother Joe (Arlene Allen), sisters; Donna (Rob) Tinsley, Janet (Dorel Gecse), Debbie (Jack Tinsley); nieces Toni and Ashley; nephews Sean and Joey. Predeceased by his father Joe.

Ed was born and raised in Kitimat and was proud to call it his home. He loved nature, the outdoors and the ocean. He had an athleticism and enthusiasm for sport and recreation. From hunting, fishing and hiking, to playing lacrosse, hockey, skiing and snowboarding – he did it all. His passion was for music and his guitar...his voice beautiful and rare. His greatest love and what he most cherished was his family and his baby girl. His memory, we hold eternal and invite all to celebrate his life at a memorial service, date to be announced.

Please help Camryn and us remember her Daddy’s sense of humour, kind heart and gentle soul by emailing any stories or remembrances to: camrynsdaddy@hotmail.com.

A thank you to all who cared for Ed in Kitimat and a special thank you to Dr. Kam Shojania and the ICU nurses who will be forever remembered for their kindness and caring.

If so desired, donations in Ed’s memory
