In Loving Memory ~
Don/Israel went home to his Lord on August 29th, with family by his side, following a valiant battle with cancer.
His Celebration of Life was held on September 16th at Christ the King Catholic Church with Pastor Mike Rosneau officiating.
Don is predeceased by his father, Philip, and survived by his devoted son and best friend Darien (Nadia), mother Luella and brothers Richard (Irene), John (Christon), Michael (Tracey), Doug (Tara) and Ernie, nieces and nephews as well as many extended family members.
We would like to thank Dr. H. Mills, Dr. J. McLeod and their office staff, KGH nursing and medical staff of Acute Care & ER and Home Care Nurses as well as his Vancouver oncologists and staff at the B.C. Cancer Hospital for their wonderful care of Don.
Our family is blessed and grateful for the support of loving friends, neighbours, Israel's church community and political friends who visited, brought food, sent flowers and gift baskets, and prayed with him, most especially his second family, Vivian (Rick) Moon and his adopted sisters, Danielle, Michelle, Lael, Tamara and their families.
