In Loving Memory of Dietrich Wolter

Dietrich was born in Koenigsberg, Germany. Son of a Prussian Officer and a Hospital Nurse. In 1945 Dietrich was the only survivor of his family.
Dietrich immigrated to Canada May/June 1954 and worked briefly in Vancouver, BC before moving to Kitimat in Sept. 1954 permanently. He found work with Alcan almost immediately.
Despite his very strong disciplinary work ethics, he always was ready to have a short light-hearty conversation with nearly anybody. For a great many years he worked accident-free as a heavy duty operator of hydraulic machinery until his retirement on Dec. 1, 1993.
He will be greatly missed by his loving, devoted wife Brigitte of 43 years and all his friends.
