David Lorne (Gus) Saunders
It is with shock, sadness and dismay that we announce David’s sudden and untimely death which occurred after a brief but swift encounter with cancer.
David faced his final days with humor and determination as he indeed lived his whole life. He was a gentle, caring man, kind and generous.
Dave is survived by his wife Gerri; step son Angelo; step daughter Corrine; many of his and Gerri’s extended family; and a great many friends.
A Funeral Service for David was be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 1760 Nalabila Blvd., Kitimat BC. Interment of ashes in Saskatoon SK.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dave’s favourite Charity, Critter Care Wildlife Society, 481-216 St., Langley BC V2Z 1R5.
