Demiris, Constantinos (Gus)
born in Kalamata, Greece January 10, 1934
passed away peacefully in Kitimat, BC
October 13, 2008.
Gus is sadly missed by his loving family; sons Ken (Christine) of Kitimat, BC, Dino (Holly) of Oakville, ON; grandchildren Nicolas and Vivienne; brothers Stefanos and Peter; sisters Ritsa and Vivi. He was predeceased by his daughter Vivienne.
Gus will also be missed by his other relatives and many friends who spent time with him and enjoyed his company. His extensive group of poker playing buddies already miss his skill, humour and companionship at the table.
A service was held at St. Georges Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Vancouver, BC and Gus was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Burnaby, BC.
A gathering of friends and family will be held January 10, 2009 at the Greek Orthodox Community Hall in Kitimat, BC at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Childrens Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated to celebrate the birth of his twin grandchildren.
