Clifford Charles Louttit passed away peacefully Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the age of 86. Clifford was born in Montreal, Quebec and spent his early years living in Cuba. While serving in the military, he attended McGill University and became a Professional Electrical Engineer - as was his father and one of his grandsons.

He worked for Alcan Aluminum while in Arvida and was transferred to Kitimat in 1968. Clifford and Eileen participated in many activities including the swim club and the square dance club. Upon retirement Clifford and Eileen moved to the Parksville area and spent 20 years there before moving to Duncan.

A true “gentleman;” Clifford was a man of his word and his handshake was golden. He will be sincerely missed by all.

Clifford is recently predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Muriel Eileen Louttit and he is survived by all five children - Cathy Bowen (Steve), Greg (Sandy), Ross (Rosemary), Cynthia Schroyen, Nora Leidenius (Rod); eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
