Anna Rose McDermott 1950-2008
Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend
Born in County Fermanagh, Ireland on August 12, 1950 and passed away suddenly at her home on April 19, 2008 at the age of 57 years.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Eileen Cassidy and brother J.P.
Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, husband of 36 years, Tony; daughter Cara (Ed); sons Declan and Enda; sisters Maureen (Eamon), and Sheila (Thomas); brothers Tommy (Sadie), Jim (Carmel) and Brendan of Ireland; and Art (Agnes) of Toronto; many nieces and nephews and countless dear friends who will miss her greatly.
Ann was pure radiance. She loved life and lived each of her days to the fullest. Her unsurpassable work ethic and energetic spirit was an inspiration to her beloved family and friends. Ann’s wit and charm were undeniable. She had a smile full of sunshine and an infectious laugh that filled any room. She loved her family beyond words, and treasured each and every one of her dear friends. Her profound warmth, generous spirit and passion for life will always be remembered by those who knew her.
A Funeral Mass was held on April 28, 2008 at Christ the King Church in Kitimat.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of our family and friends, near and far, who have supported us in our time of grief. The thoughtful cards, meals, flowers, prayers and countless acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
